    This module deals with the Polyps and Polyposis Syndromes. Classifications of colorectal polyps, Neoplastic colorectal Polyps, Neoplastic polyposis syndromes, Non neoplastic colorectal polyps, Non neoplastic colorectal polyposis syndromes and Hereditary mixed polyposis syndrome are explained thoroughly with emphasis upon the aetiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management for each of them.

  • 5. Disorders of the Colon and Rectum: Defecation Disorders 50 min

    This module delves deep into the features of various Defecation Disorders including Constipation, Melanosis coli, Faecal impaction, Megacolon and Ogilvie’s syndrome or Acute Colonic Pseudo Obstruction. They have been discussed in detail, describing their aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management.

  • 6. Disorders of Colon and Rectum: Anorectal Problems 42 min

    This module talks about some of common Anorectal Problems including – Faecal Incontinence, Anal Fissure and Fistula In Ano. It entails detailed discussion on the definitions, aetiopathogenesis, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of all these diseases.

  • 7. Disorders of Colon and Rectum: Haemorrhoids 25 min

    This module deals with another important anorectal disease - Haemorrhoids. Internal and External Haemorrhoids are explained thoroughly with emphasis upon their aetiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, investigations and management.

  • 8. Disorders of Colon & Rectum: Diverticulosis 26 min

    This module talks about another important ailment of the colon and rectum – Diverticulosis. Classification, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis and management of diverticulosis are included.

  • 9. Disorders of Colon & Rectum: Colorectal Cancer 36 min

    The last module in this part deals with Colorectal Cancer, where its global epidemiology, risk factors, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and investigations, management & prognosis, and prevention and screening are discussed in detail.
