More than 20% of patients treated by Homeopaths belong to the specialty of Dermatology. This is a challenging field as the patient often opts for Homeopathy as the first line of treatment. The accuracy of diagnosis, remedy selection and general advice to the patients is of paramount importance. Therefore, Homeopaths should be given practical training with adequate number of visuals. course includes information about the structure and function of skin, history taking and clinical examination in dermatological conditions and the Homeopathic approach to skin diseases. Several commonly used Homeopathic remedies and their indications along with the indications of some lesser-known remedies for skin diseases are discussed. Apart from that, the prescribing techniques, differences between Homeopathic aggravation and disease aggravation in a variety of skin conditions, role of external application and the rules of potency selection are also included.
